Great food and service. Excellent BBQ ribs. The baked beans are delicious and they also have really good potato salad. The toast that comes with the meal is a nice touch.

Wife and I eat at Bandana's every couple weeks. We always have one of the budget busters lunch. I really like the smoked turkey. Always get good service and short wait time. Just the right amount of time to drink a cold beer.

My husband and I were there Saturday evening, small wait to be seated as the restaurant was packed but we had awesome service and the food was delicious

Wonderful bbq place. Really delicious brisket and sausage. Had potato salad and okra it was all wonderful good place to eat and definitely leaving stuffed.

From the outside this looks like a place you may want to pass up for the bigger franchise options, however, if you did pass it up you'd be doing yourself a disservice. You can smell the smoke when you get out of your car in the parking lot. Nice clean restaurant though a little worn in spots. Country decor on the inside. Not a large place but the service is fast so the wait is never too long. Waitress (Abbie) was very friendly and attentive. We usually get the "Budget Buster" meals, which includes a meat option, 2 side items and a piece of Texas toast. Every time we have come here the food is consistently good. The meats are never dry and always have great flavor. Side dishes are fresh made and flavorful. They have 5 different barbecue sauces to choose from on the table. Highly recommend if you're in the mood for barbecue.

Decided to try out Bandana's BBQ. Crowded place but we got a table within 5 minutes. As soon as you come through the front doors, you'll "smell that smoke" which is their theme. Our server Richard asked for drink orders and returned in a minute. He is one fast moving guy and even cracked a joke. Ordered some brisket, burnt ends, turkey, chicken, ribs, smoked sausage, and catfish along with the baked and green beans, fried okra , and potato salad as sides. The food arrived on a platter and you simply get what you want and plate it. Needless to say, the burnt ends were incredible!!! Having tried burnt ends at other restaurants during my travels, the ones at Bandana's are the best so far. The rest of the food on the platter including the sides were great tasting and we nearly finished everything, except for a couple pieces of the smoked sausage, which meant no room for dessert. Richard was on top of everything, refilling the drinks and providing more jokes. He was an excellent server. Went to to the back of the restaurant and you'll see their smokers working full time to create some great food. Although there's other options that we didn't try, it is highly recommend to drop in and visit Bandana's for some incredible BBQ.

I played Yelp Roulette in Evansville and found within 2 miles of my disc golf tournament, Banderas. BBQ is always a winner for me. Banderas has an up to date casual modern BBQ dining vibe. I was in a hurry so I didn't get to study the menu but I used Yelp to look at photos. I felt like pulled pork, ribs, potato salad, and beans were a safe choice. The meal came with 3 ribs which had a tasty glaze to them. These ribs were easy to chew and had a flat head to them. The outlet pork was impressive as it was cooked just right and easy to pull apart. All the sauces mixed well with the ribs and pork. The potato salad was your standard creamy mustard base and the beans had a smoky flavor to them. They tasted homemade. There are 5 sauces and all are impressive. The original is a mustard base. Then there is a Chicago sweet that had a little heat. KC was your standard mild tomato base. Sweet and smoky was an accurate description. And then the spicy which was spicy but not hot. I liked the Spicy and Original the best. Sweet tea was refreshingly sweet which was amazing for me considering I was on the North side of the Ohio River. Banderas is an excellent choice for BBQ in Evansville.
